Lamington Black Cemetery, also known as Cowperwaite, is located in Somerset County in Bedminster.

It was purchased by the Lamington Presbyterian Church for $55 from a man named Martin Kline. Both enslaved and free Blacks and their descendants are buried in the cemetery and many of them were members of the Presbyterian Church. In 1985, the cemetery was surveyed by Classics and Archaeology Professor at Rutgers, John Seidel. The report from that study is located at the Somerset County Historical Society.

Today, Lamington, which is still owned by the Lamington Presbyterian Church, is a contributing property of the Lamington Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
